If your booking excludes detangling, please also ensure that your hair is fully detangled on arrival.

If time permits, a 30min additional time at $50 applies to detangle moderately tangled hair & $90 to detangle severely tangled hair with knots & matting upon arrival. If time does not permit, the appointment will be cancelled & a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the service fee will be charged.

For the sleekist and a longlasting style with minimal product buildup, where your booking excludes washing, blowdrying & detangling, please ensure that your hair is freshly washed, blow-dried straight with straight roots using minimal product & fully detangled on arrival.

If time permits, where the hair is not been brow-dried straight, a $50 blowdrying fee will apply for short-medium length hair & $70 for long hair. Where time does not permit, the appointment will be cancelled & a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the service fee will be charged.

You do not have to arrive with your hair sectioned or parted, this is part of the service.

To enable us to make accurate recommendations, please arrive with all your hair in its natural state that is free from braids, twists, extensions, tangles & knots.

To help get the most out of your appointment, please have questions about your hair concerns, hair or style goals ready and also, make a list of any existing products that you may be using. This can be done with photos.

For a longlasting install with minimal product buildup, where your booking excludes washing, blowdrying & detangling, please ensure that your hair is freshly washed, blow-dried with minimal product to avoid excessive product buildup & fully detangled on arrival.

Where applicable, please also ensure all existing extensions are removed and the hair completely dry & free of all glues & waxes..

Please add an extensions removal and wash service to the booking if your service does not include this and you wish for us to do this for you.

BYO EXTENSIONS
For the best styling outcome, please ensure all BYO extensions are freshly washed, free of any adhesives or threads, fully dry & detangled.

Where your booking excludes detangling, please ensure that your hair is fully detangled on arrival.

For optimal results, please ensure that the hair is completely free of oils & wax residues.

If you regularly use gels & waxes & are unsure whether your hair is coated with wax after washing, please use a blow dryer to test on low heat. If the hair smokes, there is a possibility that the hair still has wax residue. Hence, you will need to apply a hair wax remover to remove as they can not be removed by cleansing alone.

Please note, wax residues weighs the hair down. Hence, will significantly impact the quality of your silk press if unremoved.

To avoid scalp irritations and hair breakage, please avoid scratching your scalp and ensure your hair is not shampooed for at least 5 days before the appointment.

Please also avoid scratching your scalp and ensure your hair is fully detangled if your booking excludes detangling.

It is recommended to nourish the hair for at least 2 weeks post the removal of braiding styles to prevent post-relaxer breakage.

Please arrive 5 minutes early to make the most of your appointment.

To enable all clients to make the most out of their appointment, please avoid arriving more than 15 minutes early.
